Vision revamps mobile platform

Vision Group, Uganda’s largest media empire, has today revamped its mobile platform; 8338 to serve clients with better efficiency and effectiveness.Kuyoh said customers should expect a faster system, backed by great customer service, after sales support.

Vision Group, Uganda’s largest media empire, has today revamped its mobile platform; 8338 to serve clients with better efficiency and effectiveness.

“We have upgraded our software and hardware, have a new manager; Oscar Byamugisha, who will work with a dedicated team,” said Keith Kuyoh, Vision Group’s marketing manager in charge of digital.

"We have changed our business model. We have innovations that will change the face of communication in the industry.” 

Kuyoh said customers should expect a faster system, backed by great customer service and after sales support.

“We will be able to serve you (clients) with fresh info content, call centres, bulk messaging platforms, secure online and mobile payment gateways, and many other mobile communication solutions. We will also have a dedicated portal which we will give to our clients.” he said.

The 8338 platform, under the Digital Division, was launched in 2010 as Vision Group pursued a new strategy of provide information to clients across different platforms.

The Digital platform has websites and mobile.

The other  Vision Group platforms are Television with Bukedde, TV West and Urban; Radio with Arua One, XFM, Radio West, Bukedde radio and Etop and Newspapers that has New Vision, Saturday Vision, Sunday Vision, Orumuri, Etop, Rupiny plus magazines Flair, City Beat and Bride and Groom.
