Nigerian R&B recording artist Tiwa Savage has arrived in Uganda ahead of her special International Women’s Day performance on Sunday night.
Her show will take place at Kati Kati Grounds, Lugogo in the capital Kampala.
Savage, 35, who touched down at Entebbe International Airport early Saturday, spoke of her delight to be in Uganda and promised her local fans a great show.
"Come and support the show. I will definitely give you the best of my songs and leave you yearning for more," said the Lagos-born singer of the Kele Kele Love fame.
Local female musicians will also perform at the concert which is sponsored by Airtel Uganda.
The line-up includes Rema, Irene Ntale, Cindy, Sheebah, Keko, Lillian Mbabazi as well as Airtel Trace Music Star winner Sandra Suubi.
To attend the show, revelers will part with sh20,000 for regular and sh50,000 for VIP.

Tiwa Savage first came to the consciousness of most Nigerians in 2010 when she released her infectious smash hit Kele Kele Love late 2010. Her other hit singles include Love, Love Me, Without My Heart and Ife wa gbona.
At the age of 16, she was opportune to sing backup for George Michael. Tiwa was born in Lagos, and graduated from the University of Kent in the UK with a degree in business administration and accounts.
As a backup singer, Tiwa Savage has toured with international acclaimed artists such as Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, George Michael, Emma Bunton (Spice Girls), Blu Cantrell, Kelly Clarkson to name a few.
In 2006 she participated in the United Kingdom’s (UK's) X-Factor music competition and made it to the Top 24 while she was attending school for her second degree at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated in 2007.
In 2010 upon releasing her debut single Kele Kele Love, Tiwa set up her own label imprint 323 Entertainment with her manager Tunji "TJ Billz" Balogun, as she embarked on a solo career.
Two years since her debut on the local music scene she has been nominated for several awards, including HipHop World Awards (Best Female Vocalist, Best R & B single) and 2012 Channel O Music Awards (Female Video of the year, Most Gifted R &B music video of the Year).
In early 2012, 323 Entertainment teamed up with Super producer Don Jazzy's label Mavin Records and was featured on the label's debut compilation album.
Once Upon A Time, her highly anticipated debut album, was released on the July 3, 2013 with rave reviews.
