SC Villa players are likely to land an opportunity to play in professional leagues following the arrival of Spanish coach Antonio Flores in the country over the weekend.

The qualified coach jetted into the country on Saturday on a two week scouting program after Villa agreed on a partnership deal with the Spaniard.

SC Villa Chief Executive Officer Ivan Kakembo will unveil the former international congress coach for Malaga on Monday at Villa Park.

He holds UEFA A and B licenses and speaks three prominent languages namely Russian, German and English.

“Flores has worked with big teams in Europe, especially in Spain and we believe he will help us in connecting our players to those clubs for professional football,” Kakembo stated.

He added that the initiative came after club President Ben Immanuel Misagga had earlier promised to seek professional opportunities for the SC Villa players.

Flores is also the head coach of the U-16 Polideportivo Aguadulce, a team that plays in Andaluza league which is in the 5th level of competition in Spanish League Football.

He once coached the U-14 of Polideportivo Aguadulce and CD Roquetas in the 2013-14 and 2012-13 seasons respectively.
