Edwin Ekiring eyes world title

EDWIN Ekiring will try to make up for his lukewarm performance at the London 2012 Olympic Games at the Badminton World Championships.

Uganda’s top seed, who failed to come out of the group stages in the London show, will face a number of top guns in the world show set for August 5-11 in China.

The event has attracted the world’s leading 64 players. 

“This is what I have been looking forward to. I want to play against top players,” Ekiring said. 

The Netherlands based player is the top ranked star in Africa.
