“We are traveling for the Dubai 7s where we shall be featuring for the Mama side, but am confident with the schools breaking off, we shall have a good squad that will get a win,” club official Irene Namapii stated.
Former team captain Brenda Kayiyi, Irene Namapii, centre/winger Helen Buteme and Emma Oroma have traveled to Dubai to feature for the Mama side in the Dubai 7s women category championship.
Meanwhile in the Nile Special Premier Rugby League Sadolin Mongers host Pirates at the House of Pain Entebbe on Saturday.
Both defending champion Kobs and Uganda Cup holders Heathens have lost points at the House pain and it’s a big test for Pirates.
Heathens are on top of the table with 17 points, three ahead of second and third placed Kobs and Rhinos.
Pirates (6pts), Warriors (4pts) and Impis (4Pts) are struggling in the relegation zone.
