Mukwano Group launches multiple Mama products

Mukwano Group of companies has launched the Mama brand, which comprises of Mama Detergent power, Mama Scouring powder and Mama laundry Bar Soap for washing.

Douglas Mazune, the Public Relations Liaison Office said the Mama formulation is a powerful cleaner and fabric softener with a wonderful fresh scent of Citrus lemon.

“With our rich history in the fast moving consumer goods market, we are delighted to have continuously evolved to match our loyal customers’ needs over the years. The introduction of Mama not only strengthens our position but its a clear testimony that we value our customers by always responding to their needs,” Mazune said

Nicola Brown, GM-Marketing, Mukwano Group of Companies said the multi-purpose scouring powder is a new product of the Mama range and that the product is designed to deliver high performance cleaning.  She added that it is effective in killing 99% of household germs and is already available on the Ugandan Market.

“Our scouring powder has been specifically packaged in handy 500g plastic containers and designed in predominantly Orange and Blue colours, similar to Mama Detergent,” Nicola explained. She also said households will love Mama Scouring Powder for saving their time because of its cleansing power which removes the toughest stains from the kitchen, bathrooms and utensils.

“We have a special Mama laundry soap which was recently rebranded with a nice lemon scent and executional cleaning power. It is used for both washing fabric and kitchen ware.  It is our premium bar soap which is also used for bathing by some consumers” Mazune added.
