Ibrahima Traore has had to beg his German club Borussia Monchengladbach to let him play for Guinea in their final Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Cranes. The club's doctor had concerns that he could contract the deadly Ebola virus.

Left back Godfrey Walusimbi recalled

Uganda Cranes head coach, Milutin Sedrojevic has recalled left back , Godfrey Walusimbi and Geofrey Baba Kizito to the starting line up against Guinea at the Mohammed V stadium in Casablanca city,Morocco.

Walusimbi, who plays professional football in Gor Mahia F.C in Kenya did not play any part in the last Cranes’ game against Ghana in Kampala because of accumulated yellow cards.

Meanwhile, Geofrey ‘Baba’ Kizito, who came off the bench against Ghana starts in a five man mid field of Tonny Mawejje, Farouk Miya, Brian Majwega, Kizito Luwagga and Baba himself.
