''Meddie has sh2b on secret bank accounts''

Former socialite Bad Black's boyfriend, David Greenhalgh is seeking to attach Meddie Ssentongo's properties and freeze his bank  accounts to the tune of over sh2b.

David hopes to recover part of the sh11bn that his former girl friend Black, together with Meddie, defrauded him of.

Last year, Black and Meddie were convicted for fraud and embezzlement and jailed four years and 18 months respectively. Bad Black is  currently out on bail after she deposited sh100m to seek medical attention for her breast implants.

Now David, through his lawyer Patrick Furah, says he has discovered that Meddie still has over sh2b on secret bank accounts and  also properties which he wants to attach and recover whatever is left of the money.

Furah said they believe this is part of the money that was embezzled from David's company Daveshan Development Ltd.

When contacted for a comment on the matter, Meddie said he was ready to battle David in court because he has never taken anything from him and whatever money and properties he has are his.

"Though I lost the first case I have never stolen money from David. I have never  stolen from his employee, company nor have I taken anything from his friend," he said.

He added: "If he wants his money he has to look for Black with whom they owned the company. Let him forget about what is mine!"

"I know their intention is to make me broke because every other day they fabricate cases against me. In Allah's name I will guard what is mine because even after I was convicted I was not told to refund anything."

David's lawyer insists that Meddie will be sued together with Black because they stole the money together.

Meddie is currently battling another case of threatening violence against a court broker, Christopher Kwezera Ssebikali .

He  appeared at Buganda Road court on Wednesday before Chief magistrate Mary Eleanor Khainza, but his case was not heard because the file is  still with the Director of Public Prosecution.

The hearing was adjourned to March 13, 2013.
