Nigerian singer Wizkid put up a vibrant performance at Golf Course Hotel Kampala Wednesday night during the All Black V.I.P event to launch the new pack of Guinness.

By 7:00pm, invited guests had streamed in and filled the venue, guzzling unlimited flow of Guinness beers while waiting for the curtains to go up for the performances.

It is at 8:00pm that radio personality Flavia Tumusiime, night’s emcee, declared the event started and everyone, mostly dressed in black got into the hall to enjoy what the organisers had in stock.

First to perform was VJ Baby Love on decks mixing a collection of songs before DJ Alludah, in tandem with Hypeman, got the crowds dancing on local and international mixes. It was the performances of local artistes Navio, Cindy, Jackie Chandiru and Jose Chameleone that really revved up the temperatures away from the deejays’ session.

After them was a performance from the guest deejay, British Nigerian born DJ Xclusive, whose time wasn’t really better than what the local deejays had done on the night.

Wizkid took to stage at 10:50pm and got everyone excited with his popular songs for over two hours. Dressed in a black shirt and pants, with sparkling necklaces, the youthful singer, born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, performed almost all of his songs like Caro, On Top Your Matter and Love My Baby before ending his performance at 11:55pm. It was a good night for a midweek.
