National Council of Sports

1. The National Council of Sports has secured funds for the acquisition of a contractor to carry out renovation works of its administration Block.

2. The National Council of Sports invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of Works to be procured.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open Domestic bidding Procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement and Disposal Unit National Council of Sports, Accounts Section

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the General Secretary National Council of Sports and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Uganda shillings 100,000/= (One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be cash to be paid on NCS A/C 0140090504401 Stanbic Bank Lugogo Branch.

6. Bids must be hand delivered to the Procurement and Disposal Unit between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Late bids shall be rejected. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

7. The bid documents should be properly sealed in an envelope and clearly marked on the top left hand corner specifying the particular works and addressed to:- The Head, procurement and Disposal Unit, National Council of Sports, P.O. Box 20077, Kampala. 

8. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 5,000,000/= (Five Million Shillings Only) or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

9. The closing date for receiving the Bid Document shall be Friday 08th February 2013 at 11:00am and  the opening of the Bid Documents shall take place at 11:30am on the same day at the NCS Balcony in the presence of Bidders or their representatives.
