The battle for $300,000(sh800,000,000) rages on in this year’s Big Brother Africa hotshots. Ugandan housemates Ella and Esther skipped the first hurdle on Sunday when both avoided eviction, but it was Ella that survived narrowly after finding herself among the 12 contestants who got zero country votes.
The Big Brother tie breaker rule came into effect eventually ruling out Zambia’s Resa and Mozambican beauty Mira who both left the house.
One housemate received two country votes; Macky2 while 11 housemates received 1 country vote each; Arthur, Butterphly, Esther, Goitse, Idris, M’am Bea, Nhlanhla, Permithias, Sabina, Sipe, Tayo and Trezagah.
While Esther survived nomination last week things are tight for her this week. She is among those nominated since her group lost the Extravaganza performance. Ella’s group, Waka Waka, is safe from nomination this week. Frankie, Tayo and JJ are leading in the nominations.
Alusa, M’am Bea, Goitse, Butterphly all nominated Esther citing her craziness, poor team players and aggressiveness. M’am Bea said Esther should stop being foul-mouthed while Goitse said Esther and Lillian were the reason their team lost the Extravaganza.
Esther, who looked tipsy in the diary room, having attempted to drown her nerves in a few drinks hours to the eviction, nominated JJ and Permithias citing the former’s poor listening attributes and Perminthias provocative nature.
However, seems Esther and Ella are not the best of friends. Anyway, Ugandans should keep voting to save Esther and one can do that through SMS, website and mobile voting.
To vote via SMS: Type keyword “Vote” followed by the name of the housemate to the short code number. For example SMS “Vote Esther” to 8884. Please note that you can vote 100 times by SMS per cellphone number during a valid voting period.
