She has certainly been the biggest gospel artiste of this year after scooping the best female Gospel artist accolade 2014.

This is mainly attributed to her crowd soothing therapeutic song, ‘Tewali mbeera’ (literally translated as ‘no situation is permanent’).

Her name is Joy Tendo Mata.

The fast rising gospel music sensation has hit the ground running again, releasing three beautiful and soul edifying tracks.
With two of them in English (We shall overcome and Be with you) and the other, a worship song (Lwa kisa) in Luganda, Tendo has returned fresh and hotter.

She released We shall overcome and Lwa kisa a few days back and both of them are already having considerable airplay on local radio stations.

According to reliable sources, Be with you, a high tempo praise song produced by Paddy man will be released in the near future.
Apparently, this will be sometime in February, next year.

Currently on a month long musical tour around London, in the United Kingdom, Joy Tendo has promised to keep her fans smiling in a bid to reveal to the world the joy that comes with salvation.

Asked why she decided to do some of the latest songs in English, Tendo expressed that many of her foreign fans were feeling left out because they love her music but couldn’t clearly understand the meaning.

She adds that she totally believes that God’s favour will once more be upon her music and it will transform more lives, just like the songs on her last Tewali mbeera album have done.

She returns to the country in the middle of November, ready to soothe her local fans the more in a concert slated for the 5th of December, this year.
