CDM CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT SECOND CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FROM CDM PROJECT DEVELOPERS

The Climate Change Unit of the Ministry of Water and Environment is pleased to announce the 2nd Call for Applications from CDM Project Developers under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Capacity Development Project (“the project”).

The project is being implemented with fi nancial support from the Government of Belgium through the Belgian Development Agency (BTC Uganda). 

Through a number of targeted interventions, the project seeks to strengthen the capacity of individuals and institutions in both government and the private sector, in the development and implementation of CDM projects.

One of the key activities of the project is the provision of technical and fi nancial support services to the development of CDM projects and CDM Programmes of Activities (PoAs).

The detailed Call for Applications from CDM Project Developers can be downloaded from the website of the Climate Change Unit (http://www.ccu.go.ug).

All interested applicants should apply by completing the Standard Application Form which can be downloaded from the website of the Climate Change Unit (http://www.ccu.go.ug). Applications that are not submitted by completing the Standard Application Form shall not be considered.

The completed Standard Application Form together with all relevant attachments shall be bound in two (2) copies and submitted to Climate Change Unit, National Forestry Authority grounds, 10/20 Spring Road, Nakawa, Kampala, not later than 01st February 2013 (5.00 pm - East African Time).
