Remember Dr. Aggrey Kiyingi, the Australia-based Ugandan cardiologist who was in 2006 acquitted of the murder of his first wife Robinah? There is good news happening in his family quarters as you read this.
The cardiologist, who works in Sydney, Australia, earlier this week got a baby girl with his new wife, Maimuna Nakayiira. Kiyingi himself delivered the news to us by phone moments after their baby was born at Westmead Hospital in Sydney.
Nakayiira, a theologist by profession, married Kiyingi at a grand wedding ceremony in Nairobi, Kenya, in 2009 before they flew to Australia, where they live. Kiyingi said he was so excited about their bundle of joy.
Meanwhile, Nakayiira also has roots in the Ugandan music industry, as she produced several love songs, among them Siral, Ndi lubirizilwo and Omukwano Gwetulina.
