MP Namaganda introduces Mbidde

Bukomansimbi woman MP Suzan Namaganda on Saturday introduced the East African Legislative Assembly member Dennis Mukasa Mbidde.

Bukomansimbi woman MP Suzan Namaganda on Saturday introduced the East African Legislative Assembly member Dennis Mukasa Mbidde.

The grand function took place at her parents’ home at Kisojjo village Kibinge Sub County in Bukomansimbi.

Mbidde was escorted by Democratic Party comrades led by the President General Nobert Mao, the secretary general Matia Nsubuga and several Members of Parliament led by Buganda caucus chairperson Godfrey Kiwanda.

The function was graced by Buganda Premier Eng. JB Walusimbi, Uganda People’s Congress President Olara Otunnu and MPs led by the chairperson of the committee on East African affairs, Sarah Mwebaze.

Some of the MPs who attended were Kakuuto MP Matia Nsubuga, Freda Mubanda the Masaka woman MP, Patrick Nakabaale representing the youth and Rose Senninde, the Woman MP for Wakiso district.

While addressing the congregation, Eng. JB Walusimbi advised the people of Buganda to stick to the norms and principles of their culture to protect the Kingdom.

“There are things that should not be done while performing this ceremony and I don’t expect you to do them,” Walusimbi said adding that if he had not been caught up by time, he would have stayed to guide on how best the function would be.
