QDear Doctor,
I get prolonged headaches, coupled with poor vision. This has gone on for over two months. What could be the cause?

ADear Mars,
You need to go for medical checkup because headache and poor vision may point to a more serious problem.
There are several factors that could cause both symptoms at the same time. Poor vision can initiate a headache and a headache coupled with other factors can initiate poor vision.
Eye strain and blurred vision can also cause headache, especially when a person involuntarily strains the focusing muscles in the eyes to keep the vision clear.
The fatigue caused by straining the eyes can lead to a tension headache or a migraine. You might need to get your eyes screened or examined.
On the other hand, you could be having a neurological problem.
When a headache and poor vision are associated with dizziness, double vision, loss of vision, loss of sensation or strength in a body part and generalised weakness, there is a possibility that there is neurological problem. See a doctor for proper examination.
