Sam Otada is a good example of how far a child can go when a parent nurtures them in business. Mentored by his dad, it was a baptism of fire when what would have been his university graduation party turned into his old man’s funeral.
This marked the dawn of a new era, thrusting him into the world of business without chance to try much else. Today, Otada has grown his dad’s business from six buses in 1999 to Otada Group of Companies, a multimillion conglomerate involved in real estate, waste management and civil engineering works.
