Every girl wants my man

I know beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder and the females definition of beauty differs. If you are dating a handsome man, then there are several things you need to keep in mind.

It is eight months since I landed in the arms of this attractive man with a great personality, but I have failed to take my coffee in peace. Women are not kind. I have heard girls flirt with Robert in my presence and it really does a number on my self-esteem.

Every girl wants to associate with him. Recently, I heard a lady saying the day she lands on him, no girl will see him again. I quickly moved away and sent him a message to remind him that he is loved, because it seems I am not the only one who is in love with him.

Girls and married women are throwing themselves at my boy. They keep smiling at him. Whenever we go out for prayers or to a party, I get ‘evil stares’ from other girls who want to have his good genes.

They come up with all kinds excuses to make conversation. I have noticed when we are together, girls greet only him. It is like I cease to exist.

Girls post nice things on his Facebook wall, send him love messages and also offer themselves to him. I do not understand why these girls cannot accept that he is in a relationship.

Everybody keeps asking me whether I will handle the pressure that comes with dating a handsome man.

My answer is very clear. Yes, I will handle and I am not ready to fight with the girls. And to everyone who thinks handsome men do not commit, get it from me, they do and they make good husbands.

Dating a handsome man can be fun, but threatening. When I introduce him to my friends, they say: “Oh wow, I’m jealous,”

“Can we share him?” Share him! Girls, leave my man alone. I see girls who never talked to me before asking me about him.

Other girls out there keep asking why he chose me among all the ladies on his back? Are you really sure I do not suit him? Ladies, the boy knows what he wants. Stop asking a lot of un necessary questions. Some of you have even set a date when we shall breakup. I am not sure how many enemies I have these days.

Anne Assimwe, a counsellor with Care Counselling Centre, says, “When you are dating a handsome man, you have to accept it and do not forget that the way you got attracted to him, is the same way other girls want him. That means you have to be ready for competition,”

She says, if you know the reason why he fell in love with you, try to capitalise on that.
