Massa named in Cranes XI against Guinea

Geoffrey Massa has returned to Uganda Cranes’ first team for the explosive 2015 Nations Cup qualifier against Guinea after being ignored for the fixture against Ghana last Saturday.

 

The South Africa-based striker, who for unclear reasons, was dropped for the qualifier against the Black Stars that ended 1-1 in Kumasi, replaces KCCA striker Brian Umony. The rest of the team that held Ghana remains unchanged.

 

Uganda will battle Guinea at Namboole Stadium under floodlights looking for their first win in Group E.

 

Guinea beat Togo 2-1 in their first game in Casablanca, Morocco.

 

Cranes line-up: Denis Onyango, Denis Iguma, Geoffrey Walusimbi, Savio Kabugo, Andrew Mwesigwa, Geoffrey Kizito, Moses Oloya, Khalid Aucho, Geoffrey Massa , Tony Mawejje, Luwagga Kizito .
