Pre-Qualification for provision of supplies and services

ACDI/VOCA has been awarded the USAID-funded PL 480 Title II Development Food Aid
Program called “Resiliency through Wealth, Agriculture, and Nutrition in Karamoja (RWANU)”, to be implemented in Karamoja, Uganda.
ACDI/VOCA- Uganda invites qualified bidders to submit sealed pre-qualification expression of interest for provision of supplies and services for a period of 5 years in line with the categories indicated below:
Lot 1.0 SUPPLIES
Lot 1.1 Supply of motor vehicles and motorcycles
Lot 1.2 Supply of bicycles and bicycles accessories
Lot 1.3 Supply of power electrical equipment, generators, inverters, solar equipment, accessories and installation
Lot 1.4 Supply of ICT equipment, faxes, photocopiers, printers, binding machines, computers and peripherals, laptops, UPS/surge protectors, Monitors, projectors, servers, software, scanners.
Lot 1.5 Supply of communication and Tele-communication accessories (Cell phones, GIS software, GPS, satellite dishes, VSAT accessories)
Lot 1.6 Supply of office and domestic furniture (local & imported) and fitting, curtains & blinds
Lot 1.7 Supply of tyres and tubes for motor vehicles and motorcycles
Lot 1.8 Supply of assorted office stationery, tonner and ink cartridges
Lot 1.9 Supply of air conditioners and accessories
Lot 1.10 Cleaning equipment, materials and supplies
Lot 1.11 Supply of electronics (fridges, microwaves, TV sets, radios, cookers, water dispensers)
Lot 1.12 Supply of protective gear (safety boots, overalls, helmets, overcoats, leather gloves, rubber gloves, dust nose masks, gumboots, raincoats, aprons)
Lot 1.13 Supply of petroleum products, fuel, oils and lubricants
Lot 1.14 Plumbing materials (PVC materials and fittings) and installation works.
Lot 1.15 Supply of plastic water tanks and mobilets
Lot 1.16 Supply of agricultural implements (tools & equipment)
Lot 1.17 Agricultural inputs (seeds, seedlings, vegetables)
Lot 1.18 Professional wear, gowns, and clothing (uniforms & overalls)
Lot 1.19 Firefighting equipment
Lot 1.20 Branded items (printing, pens, umbrellas, cups, banners,)
Lot 1.21 Groceries / kitchen consumables and toiletry supplies
Lot 1.22 Supply of building materials (cement, nails, iron sheets, iron bars, gutters)
Lot 1.23 Supply of materials for reconstitution and packaging of food commodities (plastic bags for grain (25Kg and 50Kg), 1 liter plastic bottles, ½ liter plastic bottles, plastic cases, buckets, tarpaulins, cups, weighing scales)

Prequalification will be evaluated on basis and in accordance of ACDI/VOCA Procurement standards and is open to all eligible bidders within and outside Uganda.
The pre-qualification registration form in English can/maybe obtained from the ADCI/VOCA offices at the given below address. The completed documents must be returned/ delivered by hand and registered for before drop off in the bid box. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.
Pre-qualification submission should be made in properly sealed envelopes clearly marked “Pre-qualification documents for the provision of works or services to ACDI/VOCA” to the attention of Administration Manager - ACDI/ VOCA Uganda, Plot 6/8 Mulwana Road, Industrial Area, P.O. Box 37018, Kampala.
Date of submission is Thursday, 13th September 2012 not later than 4.00pm.
Late submissions will be rejected.
