SOME say money changes everything in life, but history remains the same. That could not be further from the truth, especially in connection with the family home of music superstar Jose Chameleone.
The latest buzz from the grapevine is that the home in which the Valu Valu singer and his famous brothers Weasle, AK47, Humphrey and Lizard grew up in Kalule Zone, Kawempe Division in Kampala, has been turned into a bar and guest house.
It is now Seven Hills Country Club. But sources close to the family say it is not the family, but rather the new owners, to whom it was sold, who made the development.
The family reportedly sold off the home, close to Kalahari Bar on Bombo Road near Habanomu Primary School, after Chameleone constructed a new family home on Entebbe Road.
We must say it was pure genius of the fellow who bought the home to turn it into a guest house. Who wouldn’t want to sleep at the home Chameleone grew up in?
