USAID/Uganda IRS II calls upon experienced and reputable companies with the required fleet for transportation of logistics/supplies and staff to submit documents for the provision of transport services.

1. Types of vehicles required in excellent condition are:

A. Trucks of 7-10 tons,

B. 4X4 pick-ups, both single- and double-cab

C. 4X4 station wagons for staff transport

The above vehicles will be assigned to work in the districts of Gulu, Amuru, Nwoya, Kitgum, Lamwo, Pader, Agago, Oyam, Apac and Kole.

2. Types of vehicles required in excellent condition are:

A. Trucks of 7-10 tons to transport logistics from Kampala to Gulu

B. 4X4 station wagons for staff transport within Kampala (with travel to Gulu and Entebbe when needed).

Expressions of Interest must include the following minimum documentation:

• List of vehicles by category;

• Copies of registration documents for each vehicle listed above;

• Expiration date of insurance cover for each vehicle;

• Proposed daily rates for each type of vehicle;

• Names & addresses of previous clients.

Note: Actual payment terms will be subject to negotiation

All documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope by close of business (5:00PM) on Friday August 31, 2012 to either of the following addresses:
