Uganda Hippos coach Paul Nkata is confident his charges will progress in the Africa U-20 Championship qualifying series tomorrow (Saturday).

Hippos face Ghana Black Satellites in the first round second leg with a 3-1 advantage from the first leg.

Nkata’s team made the trip to West Africa without key striker George Abege. He was left behind after suffering an ankle injury.

Hippos will also miss midfielders Yayiro Lutimba and Sayidi Kyeyune. The two were ruled out because of fitness issues.

Nkata said before the team’s departure that he has enough manpower for the match.

The coach said that the players who will take over from those left behind will do a good job.

“They will deliver,” Nkata remarked.

The winner over two legs will face the top team in the other game between Morocco and Gambia in the second round that will be held between September and October.
