Fashion court: Which bags are in vogue?

I would like to get a new bag, but I do not want to buy an outdated one. Which bag can I buy?

I suggest you consider the purpose and your lifestyle as a guide to finding the right bag. If you need a bag as an accessory, you should opt for a smaller one which can be noticeable. 

For carryingitems, or one you can carry to office or class, if you are a student, it should be bigger and comfortable to carry. However, you should not fall for the big bag syndrome if you are a petite person. Whereas they are a craze currently, oversise bags do not compliment small women.

Avoid shoulder bags with a long strap as they will weigh you down, making you look even shorter. Consider a satchel bag one with short handles and can be held in the hand or sometimes put over the shoulder. 

If you need a bag that you can carry often, pick one classic everyday bag in black or brown. Then you can experiment with fun, funky styles and metallics for your other bags. Before purchasing a colourful bag, always check what colour dominates your wardrobe.

You do not want a bag that you can only carry when you wear one outfit. Let it match perfectly with most of your clothes and shoes. If you notice that there are different colours in your wardrobe and there is no dominant colour, you can get a rainbow bag that can match with anything you wear.

Bags also go out of fashion, so in order not to lag behind, try to buy one bag every year. No matter what style you prefer, you can always find something suitable and trendy at the same time. If you cannot keep up with this, for elegance buy a middle-sized neutral coloured leather bag. Leather is timeless.
