A knock-out eluded Isaac 'Zebra' Ssenyange as he punched his way to his first professional boxing victory at Roof Top Arena, Garden City Friday night.

Ssenyange, who had promised to take out Kenya’s Patrick Amote in the fourth of their six-round encounter, won with a 180-160 point decision.

The former national captain took the day with stinging jabs and solid rights backed by a solid guard.

The middleweight fighter immediately after the final gong declared his intentions of fighting for the national title.

In the heavyweight challenge, hard-hitting Kenneth Odeke also got off to an impressive professional debut by stopping Kenya’s James Omolo.

Super middleweight Robert Kamya also easily retained his national title by outpointing Charles Kakande.
