My husband dishonours my respect of him

I grew up with my grandmother after my parents died. She taught me how to love, respect and honour tradition as an African woman. I didn’t go far in school, but the little I had, I have maximumly utilised and I must say I am doing better financially than my husband who is a graduate.

 Dear readers

I grew up with my grandmother after my parents died. She taught me how to love, respect and honour tradition as an African woman. I didn’t go far in school, but the little I had, I have maximumly utilised and I must say I am doing better financially than my husband who is a graduate.

My problem, however, is that my husband dislikes the way I respect and honour him as a man. When I kneel for him and all his relatives, and every respectable person who comes home, he bursts out in anger, something I never expected from a husband.

In my view, I was the kind of woman any man would die to have. Right now, I am lost and don't know who to be. Should I pass the same values to my children because surely, I believe in them and I think they have brought me this far?
