Tyler Perry, P.Diddy coming to Kampala?

He is one of Hollywood’s richest and renowned film directors. Also an actor, writer, producer, author and business mogul, Tyler Perry just might grace the soils of Uganda, along with American hip-hop mogul, Sean Combs aka P.Diddy, a rapper, singer, record producer, actor and entrepreneur.

 

Word reaching us from the Nile Diaspora International Film Festival (NDIFF) directors is that they are in talks with the two international icons to grace the first ever NDIFF in Uganda, a weeklong festival scheduled to take place at the Commonwealth Resort in Munyonyo beginning on December 8.

 

The festival is the brainchild of Canada-based Ugandan film producing couple Xena Bantarizah and Phad Mutumba, who are internationally renowned film makers, with expertise they are waiting to share with local filmmakers and actors at the event.
