Goons rob DJ Rachael

UGANDA'S pioneer female Disc Jockey (DJ), Rachael Kungu, is sad and blue after unidentified thugs broke into her car on Entebbe Road and made off with valuables.

Kungu and her close pal, Melanie Kiwagama, were in Entebbe to pick up a friend from the airport. It turned out that the friend had his own car so he drove ahead of Rachael.

As they approached Kitende, a visibly drunk man staggered onto the road and he was hit by the friend, although he was not badly injured. A crowd gathered around their friend’s car, demanding compensation.

A tense Rachael and Melanie parked at a distance and ran to rescue their friend. No sooner had the two girls got out of their car, than another group broke into their car.

They bagged two laptops, ATM cards, handbags and mobile phones. On returning, the ladies were greeted by more misery.
