Security guards donate 65 units of blood

National Blood bank has carried out an exercise of blood donation at security Group Uganda limited which attracted close to 80 security guards to carry out blood donation.

The National Blood bank did this exercise to meet the never satisfied demand of blood by various hospitals in Uganda as this blood helps to save peoples' lives.

The staff of National blood Group said that blood will never be enough even though currently the blood bank is not experiencing any insufficiency of blood but still have to carry out the exercise of blood donation so as to always have blood ready when needed.

Most of those hospitals that  lack blood  lack it because of negligence, don't have proper storage of the blood at their various hospitals or have never registered with the National blood bank to get supplied with the blood but don't lack it because of the  insuffiency of blood  said the staff of the blood bank while carrying out blood donation.

The Security Group Uganda did this as away of appreciating the public for the continuous support for all these years and called upon other companies at large to do this as away of giving back to the society
