Why animal prints still rock

THERE is something adventurous about wearing animal prints. It’s like going on a safari, but without the discomfort of early morning rides through the national park with your heart in your throat for fear of being eaten by a hungry lion.

I think this is the allure of animal or jungle prints if you like. Since their debut on the fashion scene, jungle prints have refused to be a one-day wonder. They’re still rocking the fashion world.

Below are five reasons why you should be wearing these natureinspired prints.
-They suit everyone regardless of age, size or complexion.
-Animal prints cut across various dress codes and can, therefore, be worn to any occasion whether as a full outfit or a simple accessory like a belt or clutch.

-They can make you purr like a pussycat, roar like a lioness, hiss like snake or wink like a contented crocodile.
-You can easily mix and match them with plain fabrics such as satin, chiffon and silk.
-They work well with interiors too. Imagine zebra print scatter cushions on a yellow or black couch. If you have been bitten by the jungle bug, or an ardent fan of the cartoon/animated film, Jungle Book, feel inspired to use them for curtains, carpets or rugs.

This way, you will hear the heat and rhythm of the jungle whenever you go into the living room.
-Wearing snake skin shoes and carrying an alligator skin bag can be quite liberating. Hopefully it frees you from the fear of reptiles (you wish!).
