Richie Katts assaults cop

FADED, masquerading and struggling artiste, Richie Katts is certainly living life in the fast lane. Over the Easter weekend, he had a brush with the law after he was involved in an accident that left his victim’s car, a Toyota UAE 100 written off.

Cruising his silver Jaguar Reg: (UAQ 140U), Katts crashed a stationary Toyota Kikumi parked around Chillies Restaurant in Industrial Area. The visibly drunk Katts, who was driving from Club Silk recklessly rammed into the car belonging to a one Sarah Nakato.

Within minutes of the accident, Katts, with bouncers in tow, surrounded the scene and attempted to rough up the victim. The intervention of a female cop, who came to assess the extent of the damage later, never helped matters. He is now a wanted man as Jinja road Police is ready to press charges of assaulting a police offi cer, damaging police property, drunken driving and damaging the Kikumi, which was written off after the accident.
