ALEX Isabirye is the only coach in the Uganda Super League, who does not mind reciting the rosary before his players and fellow staff.

He will always clinch his rosary and mumble the creed as he moves back and forth between the technical bench and the touchline during matches.

The staunch catholic believes the Virgin Mary is his number one consultant on how to win matches but in the last few weeks Isabirye has lost two important matches consecutively witht the same goal margin forcing the question as to whether or not the super natural has stopped asnwering his prayers.

URA suffered a 2-0 defeat to Djoliba AC in the CAF Champions League and on Saturday, Isabirye's side suffered a further misery when URA went down with the same margin to Masaka LC.

Mustafa Kasolo’s first minute goal disoriented URA and Rashid Kyambadde added the second just before first half could only confirm Alex Isabirye’s wows in both CAF Champions League and the Uganda Super League.

Their victory not only inflicted URA’s second defeat in the league in 17 matches but also denied them the chance to regain top of the table position from Express, who reclaimed it on Friday.

Masaka LC coach Kefa Kisala’s earlier warning that they would not fear any team especially at the recreational grounds came to pass last night when they convincingly beat champions URA FC 2-0.

Masaka went into the game from a win to sail through to the quarterfinals of the Uganda Cup.

"I told you before the game that I fear no one, no team, are you surprised with the result?” Kisala radiated with confidence after the match.

The win, Masak’s ninth,  pushed to the forth place on the table with 31points behind Express, URA and Bunamwaya ahead of their next game against relegation bound UTODA FC on April 14.

Mases Ndaula socred as Villa won their second successive win after beating Water FC 1-0 while Simba were 1-0 winners over Hoima-Busia.
