When did you start singing?
I loved music right from childhood and I was very active in school and church choirs. After school, I joined Badindaz Band of the late Tony Sengo and Kads Band. But I started singing professionally in 2004, when I released my maiden album, Saasira.

Are you married?
Yes, I am married with two boys, Marcus Paul Gasuza, 9, and Darren Tagayala, 4.

How did you meet your husband?
We met at Progressive S.S Bweyogerere. He had come with a friend to see someone else on visitation day, but his friend happened to know me. That is how we met.

What attracted you to him?
He was quite patient with me, unlike most men who want to rush you into bed. This showed me that he was not after anything, but love.

After a few years in marriage, some people change. How do you find your husband?
He is so caring and loving and pampers me a lot.

How do you keep the sparks in your marriage?
We usually go for holidays for just the two of us and talk about our pressing issues.

What has been the most romantic moment in your love life?
When my husband returned from kyeyo in Japan. We had spent almost two years apart and the reunion was memorable.

What is the most annoying thing he has ever done to you?
One day, I checked his phone and found a message from a woman that I did not like, but we talked about it and sorted it out.

What was the happiest moment in your life?
The day I gave birth to my first-born, Marcus. I was so excited that I even forgot about the labour pains. I did not really experience them because I was eagerly waiting for my baby.

And your worst moment?
When I lost my mother on November 9, 1998.

Best thing that has ever happened to you?
Accepting Christ as my saviour. This is the wisest decision I have ever made. It feels great being in love with God. I really love Him and I am very happy. Give it a try and you will never turn back.

Do you have any bad habits?
When I am not happy with you, I will tell you, regardless of how you will take it.

And the one thing that you cannot do without?
My family. I love my family so much that I always try to keep in touch with each and everyone.

What is your favourite dish?
Matooke and chicken. If there is no matooke in my house, then there is no food.

What is your secret wish?
To become a very important person and change people’s lives. I love to see happy people.
