Express FC are now second behind champions URA after their 4-1 win over bottom-side Utoda  in the Bell Super League at Wankulukuku on Friday.

The Red Eagles are on 35 points, just two points behind the league leaders. Goals from Erisa Ssekisambu, Yayo Lutimba, Bonny Baingana and Rogers Lukwiya secured the Reds' victory. Xzinda Hussein netted Utoda’s consolation.

The victory helped Sam Ssimbwa’s side displace Bunnamwaya who lost to Victors 1-0 and keep a keen eye on the title.

Express’s Ssekisambu's early third-minute strike showed how serious they were. Lutimba’s second netter was later on cancelled by Hussein’s goal. But further strikes by Baingana and Lukwiya dumped any hopes of a possible comeback for Utoda.
