Mangat chases NRC points in Zimbabwe

WHILE 27 drivers have already entered the Pine Ridge MOSAC Rally, national championship leader Jas Mangat is in Harare for this weekend’s Zimbabwe Rally where he stands to reap more points if the race goes his way.

Mangat, who is chasing both the national championship and African title, forfeited the MOSAC Rally due in Masaka next weekend to be able score national championship points as well. With a continental event rated highly, Mangat can score a maximum 140 points towards the local championship, 40 more than what the winner on the local scene is entitled to.

Mangat (Subaru N12) will be up against the continent’s top drivers in the two-day rally that gets underway tomorrow.
