Nsimbe asks Masters for time after Baptism of fire

NEW Firemasters coach George Nsimbe has said that he will need time to put his team on track and save it from relegation.

Nsimbe lost his first game in charge to 4-1 URA in the Bell Super League encounter at Kavumba recreation grounds.

Victors Charles Asiki put the team ahead only 4 minutes into the game and URA FC were reduced to 10 men at 22 minutes as Farouq Osama was shown a direct red for a rough play.

Vincent Kayizzi  levelled for the visitors before Robert Ssentongo registered a brace, despite kicking a penalty into Firemasters’ goalkeeper  Pico Seguya’s hands before defender Simeon Masaba notched from the rebound.

“There are so many shortfalls that need to be sorted out as a team. We need to work on the coordination and mental preparation,” said Nsimbe, whose contract is to save the team from relegation, and if he does it, he will gain a long term contract.

Nsimbe resigned from Victors citing interference in his job by the relatives of the owner Col Jackson ‘Bell’ Tushabe.
