RHINOS Scrum half Timothy Buloti will miss two games after he was sent off the pitch for stampeding on Pirates Martin Karugonjo in the game his team lost 26-3 at Kampala rugby club on Saturday.

Buloti is the second player to get a red card this season in the Nile special rugby super eight after Nile RFC’s Jude Kagga, who kicked Kobs’ Victor Wadia last week.

Pirates dominated the first half scoring two tries through prop Martin Karugonjo while Davis Kiwalabye managed one conversion to give pirates a 12-0 half time lead.

In the second half Pirates were kept on the defensive conceding seven penalties. Coach Godwin Kayangwe attributed it to lack of team bonding.

“The boys are just back from their university graduations and exams and we have not trained as a team to sort such mistakes but am confident there will be an improvement in next game,” Kayangwe stated.

Rugumayo Mpuga and Johnson Mukunzi added a try each in second while Juma Hillary managed two conversions to hand pirates a 26-3 victory.

Byron Atubikire scored Rhinos consolation Penalty.

In Jinja, Heathens had no respect for their hosts Nile whipping them 80-3 at the Dam Waterz ground. Nile last Saturday suffered a 97-0 thumping by Kobs.

At Makerere, Kobs were 75-8 victors over hosts Xfm Impis while Buffaloes upset mongers 23-15 at Kyadondo rugby club.

It’s the first defeat Mongers has suffered against Buffaloes in over a decade’s time.

Kobs stays top of the table with 10 points on try difference after tying with Heathens (10pts).Pirates are third while Buffaloes and Mongers are fourth and fifth respectively.
