Lecturer sues husband over violence

A lecturer at Gulu University, Nyaga Priscilla, has dragged her husband Patrick Odoch to court over domestic violence. In a statement recorded with the Police, Nyaga claimed her husband beat her to near death on December 28 in public and at home.

The regional Police spokesperson, Johnson Kilama, said Odoch allegedly caught his wife cheating on him with another man in his car on the night of December 28, which made him beat her.
Odoch recently appeared in court and was given a cash bail of sh200,000.
