VISION Voice, 94.8FM, is ready to welcome Africa’s biggest soccer festival in style. Listeners of the Real Radio have been given the opportunity to exclusively watch the opening match of the 27th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations with their favourite presenters at Bamboo Nest in Bugolobi, a Kampala suburb.

Hosts Angola will on Sunday open their bid for the nation’s first ever trophy at the event against West African giants Mali in Luanda.

Among the presenters to grace the party are Sam Ouga (The V-drive), Ernst Wasake (The Early Edition), Chris Otim (News Anchor), Sabiti Siima (Early Edition), Joseph Batte (History of Music).

“It is one of the many ways we want to reward our listeners. We want to show them love and mix with them as we watch the charming game,” said Sabiti Siima, the programmes manager.

The lucky listeners win tickets to the party by calling into the different shows and answering questions about the tournament.

“We are proud to be African and we like associating as well. So people should come and join us to celebrate Africa’s most prestigious football event” added Siima.

The party, one of the planned three, will also involve listeners making predictions. Winners will get prizes including specially branded Vision Voice wear.

Uganda’s leading sports pundits will be there to give analysis to the listeners at the party.

The radio provides updates and statistics about the event at 2:45pm daily in the Africa Cup of Nations Live Show.
