ATHLETICS - Moses Kibet failed to march the Kenyan trio of Leonard Komon, Michael Kipyego and Hosea Macharinyang, settling for fourth place in the LXVII Cross internacional Juan Muguerza in Elgoibar, Spain on Sunday. The Ugandan junior was coming off last weekend’s win over world cross-country winner Gebre Gebremariam in Sevilla.

English FA trains teachers

SOCCER - The English Football Association, through its international relations department, is to train 300 sports teachers in the northern region in basic coaching skills. The workshop starts today at Gulu Police Primary School with at least 30 sports teachers being trained by Mike Matthews. Matthews is a UEFA A Licensed coach and English FA lead tutor.
