We have heard from some quarters that Kampala billionaire Gordon Wavamunno has sold off his palatial lakeside home to a businessman only identified as Sudanese president Omar Bashir’s brother.

Sources say the gentleman intends to turn the entire expanse, Wavah’s house inclusive, into an upscale leisure resort with a sprawling swimming pool, yachts and all. We are told the Spear Motors chairman was given up to six months to vacate the premises after payments were made to him in full.

Apparently, the owners want the place to be opened by Bashir, who we hear will be in town to unveil Hilton Hotel.

However, the tycoon has made it unequivocally clear that he is not selling his house.

“Who can buy my house? Where would they get the money from? My house has got no market value,” he told our snoop.

He boasted that the house has 63 rooms and that it was featured in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Wavah has reportedly rejected offers to house presidents Gadaffi and Bill Clinton in the past.
