Sick eyes did not hinder him

Despite his sick eyes, Abubaker Kyagulanyi emerged one of the best students in the examinations.
Kyagulanyi scored aggregate 9 in 8 at Kibuli Secondary School. “I was worried about my eyes. Sometimes they could get swollen and that meant there was no revising.
But God helped,†he said He said he has been suffering since Primary Seven. He also attributes his performance to praying so hard. “I am a God-fearing person and whenever I pray, I ask God for blessings,†he said. He wants
to stay at Kubuli S.S for his Advanced level. He wants to pursue Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology at A’Level.
Kyagulanyi is a son of Asuman Ssengooba of Makerere University Faculty of Medicine.
