The woman MP, Beatrice Amongi, blamed district officials, saying the Government had sent enough money to rehabilitate 20 boreholes.

The only borehole serving Ewanga health centre has broken down, prompting the authorities to temporary close the health unit.The district health officer, Dr. Patrick Anguzu, said water shortage was one of the centre’s problems. The centre, Anguzu explained, was poorly staffed and lacked drugs.
