Layering an easy way of propagation

Layering is a natural propagation method where a low growing stem of a creeping plant is used to get a new plant.

Most of these plants have stems that touch the soil and the roots in the ground.

To grow another plant, cut the old stem from the parent plant and allow the to start a new life.

Simple layering
This method is ideal for climbers and trailers.

Peg a shoot down into the ground and wait until it has rooted.

Then cut off the parent plant.
