Kudos Police on boda-boda

EDITOR—I wish to congratulate the Police force for its sustained crack down on errant <i>boda boda</i> cyclists in the city. The cyclists seemed to be above the law and committed many offences on the roads.
EDITOR—I wish to congratulate the Police force for its sustained crack down on errant boda boda cyclists in the city. The cyclists seemed to be above the law and committed many offences on the roads.
Since the operation began, we are witnessing some sanity on our road.
I encourage the Police to continue with the operation and not be intimidated by politicians. Most politicians in Kampala see potential voters in boda boda cyclists. We are all voters, but we do not behave as if we are above the law.
The law should always take its course. Thugs have been robbing people’s phones, handbags and other valuables using boda bodas.
Kampala City Council should register all cyclists to avert crime. Those who refuse to register should be considered the wrong elements. Give them numbers, jackets and designated stages.
Well done Police and continue with the good work until there is order in Kampala.
