DEFENDING champions MTN Heathens seem to be invincible in their quest to retain the title as they whipped hosts Nile RFC 55-5 in a Nile Special Premier Rugby League second round game in Jinja on Saturday.

Teenager Steven Kasosi gave Heathens lead with a try to tally his score to six, two behind Pirates’ Denis Etuket (8 tries).

Heathens, now nine points ahead of second placed G4S Pirates (30) have won all their games with bonus points in seven out of the eight games played.

This streak leaves little opportunity for rivals, who have faltered in certain crucial games, to catch up.
