TWO lucky 94.8FM Vision Voice listeners won cash prizes in the ongoing promotion code-named “The vision vault.” The winners were Leuben Kamugasha, 45, a shoe maker and resident of Kireka, who won sh1m and Lillian Nega, 30, from Naguru, a student at the institute of bankers, who won sh420,000.

The Vision Voice promotions coordinator, Ernest Wasake, said the promotion started in November last year and would go on as long as the radio can reward its listeners. Wasake is also a co-presenter on the morning show, early edition.

Giving the cash prizes to the winners, Wasake said: “All that is required of the listeners is to have knowledge about Vision Voice and on a few things around the world.”

He added that over sh6m has so far been won since the promotion began. The procedure of the game is that presenters ask questions and give “keys” (clues) to the correct answers.

Every hour, sh10,000 is added into the vault for a key, and after three keys have been announced, listeners call in.

Whoever gives the correct answer using the three keys wins instantly, Wasake explained. “To take part in the game, listeners have to use their memories well, call in to the studios, give the correct answers to the clues and win the money instantly,” he added.
