EMILLY Nanziri and Ali Ngaimoko qualified for the Africa Senior Championship as the Commonwealth Games marks still eluded athletes in the national athletics trials on Saturday.

EMILLY Nanziri and Ali Ngaimoko qualified for the Africa Senior Championship as the Commonwealth Games marks still eluded athletes in the national athletics trials on Saturday.

Nanziri of Ndejje clocked 11.5 seconds in the 100m dash at Namboole to earn a berth to the elite continental competition due in Nairobi Kenya in July.

Kampala International University’s Ngaimoko made the Nairobi list with 10.3 seconds also in the 100m.

Uganda Athletics Federation’s Namayo Mawerere said three more trials are in the offing to enable athletes attain marks for the Commonwealth Games due in New Delhi, India in October.
