Women usually get sympathy

Once a man is accused by a woman of rape or indecent assault, more often than not he is guilty as charged in the minds of the public. There is a natural tendency for the public to side with a female complainant. However, the downside is that it leaves room for character assasination and malicious allegations in many cases.

It is also possible that a female patient whose medical bill has significantly risen is likely to storm out of the treatment room citing ‘sexual harassment’. She is likely to get away with it. Women must be protected against some unscrupulous medical practitioners but we should not forget that there are also unscrupulous patients lurking in the woods.

Should sensitive medical examinations involving women only be done by female doctors?
