FOR the second time, fans at Nile Funday in Jinja were duped.
Artistes, who were advertised that they would sing at the Nile Special sponsored rugby funday, did not appear and yet the emcee kept on announcing that they were on their way to the show.

Singer Jose Chameleone was supposed to be the main act but he did not turn up. Others included Kenya’s Genge music star Jua Cali, and Kenyan Code Red DJs and Nonini, but they were all absent.

Well, in that spot of bother, GNL Zamba and Vampino surfaced and saved the organisers from further embarrassment and wrath of the fans.

Fans who had started walking away returned immediately the emcee announced that Zamba was in the house.

However, the Lugaflow rapper stung them hard when he chose to sing a song that makes fun of the Basoga.

Zamba sang in Luganda that he attacks music like the jiggers attack the Basoga.
For this, he earned rounds of boos, but he was wise to stop and leave the stage.

Probably, he was the best act that day. Otherwise, the rest of the day was about booze and nyama choma.

After GNL’s performance, trevellers descended on bars in Jinja town and drank like they had heard that beers were banned effective the following day.
